Privacy Notice

This notice explains the information Kendall County Recent Arrests may receive when someone browses the site, submits a search, or sends a message. It also describes why the data is used, the service providers that may receive it, and the choices available to visitors. Use of linked government or private services is governed by each provider’s own privacy terms.

Information You Submit

Search Terms

A query entered in a search box is sent to the independent search provider that processes it. We do not receive or store the provider’s complete search results. The partner may collect the query and technical details under its own privacy policy.

Messages

If you send a contact message, we retain the information needed to review and answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.

Automatic Technical Data

Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising systems may record:

  • IP address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device type and operating system;
  • pages visited and time spent;
  • the referring site, when available; and
  • date and time stamps.

Cookies

Cookies help measure site use and support features. Browser controls can reject or delete them, though parts of the site may then work differently.

How Data Is Used

Collected information may be used to operate and improve the site, route queries to the selected search provider, understand which pages help visitors, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and display ads that may reflect visitor interests.

Outside Sites and Services

Links may lead to the Kendall County inmate search, Sheriff Records, court portals, IDOC, federal locators, or private search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination’s policies control its collection and use of data. Advertising partners may also use their own systems to measure activity across sites for interest-based advertising.

When Data May Be Shared

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to search partners that process queries, analytics vendors, advertising networks, and law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order.

Security Practices

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be promised to be completely secure, so breach-proof protection is not guaranteed.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held about them, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. Illinois public records remain controlled by the agency and the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140; requests concerning an official record must go to that record’s custodian.

Changes to This Notice

This privacy notice may be revised as site practices or legal requirements change. An updated version takes effect when posted here with a new effective date.
